Where accessiBe is stronger
- Expert services. accessiBe sells manual expert audits, testing by people with disabilities, PDF remediation and VPATs. Accessora sells software only.7,8
- Litigation support. From the Growth plan, a customer facing a demand letter or lawsuit gets a case manager and documentation for their legal team. accessiBe also pledges from $15,000, depending on plan, if a case is lost in court. It does not cover legal fees or provide a lawyer in court.9
- Developer tooling. accessFlow crawls user flows, suggests code fixes and plugs into CI pipelines and Jira. Accessora's audits run on a schedule in the dashboard.6
- SOC 2. accessiBe says its security follows SOC 2-compliant measures. Accessora has no SOC 2 report.10
Where Accessora is different
- Price. On monthly billing, Accessora's top plan at $49.99 costs less than accessiBe's entry plan at $59. See pricing for what each plan includes.1
- Several sites on one plan. Growth covers 3 sites and Enterprise 10. accessiBe prices each domain separately, and subdomains need their own plan.1
- Audits on every plan. Even Starter runs scheduled scans and lists each issue with its WCAG criterion and the elements it affects, so you can see what still needs a developer.
- More widget languages. Accessora's panel comes in 44, and accessWidget lists 33.2
- No compliance promise. We don't claim a script can make a site compliant. The widget helps visitors adjust the page, and audits show what to fix in your code.
accessiBe pricing, worked through
accessiBe prices each domain by monthly visits. It uses Similarweb's estimate of average non-unique visits, desktop and mobile, over the past six months. Micro covers up to 5,000 visits for $59 a month, Growth up to 30,000 for $179 and Scale up to 100,000 for $479. accessiBe says paying yearly saves 30%.1
Accessora has no page view limit on any plan. The price depends on how many sites you add and which features you need: Starter covers one site, Growth three and Enterprise ten.
Here is one site worked through. A shop with 3,000 visits a month fits accessiBe Micro at $59 or Accessora Starter at $4.99. If it grows to 30,000 visits, accessiBe moves it to Growth at $179, and Accessora Starter stays at $4.99. Starter has no AI alt text or automated fixes, though. AI alt text needs Growth at $24.99 and automated fixes need Enterprise at $49.99, while accessiBe Micro includes its automatic fixes.1

The FTC case against accessiBe
On January 3, 2025 the US Federal Trade Commission announced a complaint and proposed order against accessiBe. The FTC alleged that accessiBe's claims that its widget could make any website WCAG compliant were false, misleading or unsubstantiated. It also alleged that accessiBe paid for reviews and articles formatted to look independent.11,12
The final order, approved in April 2025, required accessiBe to pay $1 million. It bars accessiBe from claiming that an automated product can make a website WCAG compliant unless it has competent and reliable evidence. accessiBe neither admitted nor denied the allegations.13,14
The same caution applies to every widget, ours included. Accessibility practitioners who signed the Overlay Fact Sheet say no overlay can make a site fully compliant, and their definition covers widgets like Accessora's. Our audits find part of what still needs fixing in your code, and a manual review finds the rest.15
Which one fits you
accessiBe is the better fit if
- You want a manual audit, a VPAT or litigation support from the same vendor.
- Your developers want accessibility checks in CI and Jira.
- You need a widget language Accessora does not have.
- Your procurement team asks vendors about SOC 2.
Accessora is the better fit if
- You run a small business site or store and want the widget, audits and alt text on a small budget.
- You manage several sites and want them on one plan.
- You want an audit list of issues to fix in your own code.

Is Accessora cheaper than accessiBe?
Yes, on list prices. Accessora plans are $4.99, $24.99 and $49.99 a month. accessiBe's widget plans are $59, $179 and $479 a month per domain, or $490 to $3,990 a year. accessiBe counts monthly visits and Accessora counts page loads, so compare using your own traffic.
Does Accessora offer litigation support like accessiBe?
No. Accessora does not offer legal support, case managers or pledges. If you receive a demand letter, talk to a lawyer first. An audit can then show which issues are on your pages today.
What did the FTC order say about accessiBe?
The FTC alleged that accessiBe misrepresented that its widget could make any website WCAG compliant, and that it presented paid reviews as independent. The April 2025 final order required accessiBe to pay $1 million and bars such claims without competent and reliable evidence. accessiBe neither admitted nor denied the allegations.
Does either product make my website compliant?
No. A widget alone can't make a site fully WCAG compliant. It helps visitors adjust the page, and runtime fixes patch common defects. Captions, documents, custom components and content still need people, and an audit shows where to start.
How do I switch from accessiBe to Accessora?
Start a trial, add the Accessora script tag (or the Shopify app), then remove the accessiBe script or app so visitors see one widget. The install guides cover Shopify, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and more.
Try it on your own site.
