Accessora
Installation

Install with a script tag

One script tag, added once to the template every page shares. It works on any site where you can add code, from hand-written HTML to site builders with a custom code box.

Steps

  1. Copy the tag. In the dashboard, open your site and go to Installation. The HTML tab shows your snippet with the domain ID filled in.
  2. Paste it on every page. Put it right before </body> in the template every page shares, such as a theme footer or layout file. On a site builder, use the site-wide custom code setting, not a code block on one page.
  3. Publish. Save and publish. If a page cache or CDN sits in front of your site, purge it so visitors get the new HTML.
  4. Verify. Back on the Installation page, click Verify installation.

Keep these parts as they are

  • The domainId query string. It is how the widget finds your settings. Some optimization tools strip query strings from script addresses. If yours does, exclude the Accessora script. See caching and optimizer plugins.
  • The /latest/ path. It always serves the current widget, so you get fixes without touching your site.
  • async. It lets your page render without waiting for the widget. You can also put the tag in <head> with async if your platform only allows that. It works the same.

Add the tag once per page. If a plugin and your theme both add it, remove one.
