Accessora
Comparison

accessiBe vs UserWay, side by side.

accessiBe and UserWay both sell an accessibility widget with expert services and legal support on top. They price in different units, so the sticker prices mislead. This page lines up what each publishes, with a source for every claim. We make Accessora, a third option, and say where it fits at the end.

The short answer
  • UserWay costs less for most sites. Its Pro plan is $49 a month for up to 100,000 page views. accessiBe starts at $59 a month for up to 5,000 visits, and 30,000 visits costs $179.
  • UserWay's widget has more languages (50+ against 33), a built-in screen reader and a free version. accessiBe includes automatic fixes on every plan, where UserWay lists AI remediation from Pro Plus at $119 a month.
  • Both sell manual audits, VPATs and litigation support, and neither widget makes a site compliant on its own. accessiBe paid $1 million under a 2025 FTC order over claims that it could.

What the same site pays on each

accessiBe counts visits and UserWay counts page views. One visit usually includes several page views, so compare with your own traffic, not the plan names.1,12

Take a store with 20,000 visits a month and three pages per visit, about 60,000 page views. On accessiBe that is the Growth plan at $179 a month, which includes automatic fixes and litigation support. On UserWay it is Pro at $49 a month, or Pro Plus from $119 if you want AI remediation, live translation and usage stats.1,12,13

Paying yearly lowers both. accessiBe's plans run $490 to $3,990 a year. UserWay Pro is $490 a year, Pro Plus $1,190 and Ultimate $2,490.1,12

In April 2025 the FTC approved a final order requiring accessiBe to pay $1 million. The FTC alleged that accessiBe's claims that its widget could make any website WCAG compliant were false or unsubstantiated. accessiBe neither admitted nor denied the allegations.10

In July 2024 a UserWay customer, Bloomsybox.com, filed a proposed class action over earlier marketing that promised full compliance. In March 2026 a federal court in Delaware let the consumer fraud and negligent misrepresentation claims go ahead. That ruling did not decide whether the claims are true.21

UserWay now says no automated tool can guarantee full ADA or WCAG conformance. The practitioners behind the Overlay Fact Sheet say the same of every widget. Use either one to help visitors adjust the page, and plan for code fixes and a manual review.13,11

A third option: Accessora

We make Accessora, so weigh this section with that in mind. Plans are $4.99, $24.99 and $49.99 a month, counted by page loads like UserWay, and cover 1, 3 or 10 sites. Every plan has the widget, scheduled audits and usage analytics, and starts with a 7-day free trial.

Accessora has no manual audits, VPATs or litigation support. If you need those, pick accessiBe or UserWay. UserWay also has more widget languages, 50+ against Accessora's 44. Our pages on Accessora vs accessiBe and Accessora vs UserWay list where each one is stronger.
